CALL FOR MUSICIANS TO JOIN A SMALL ACOUSTIC ENSEMBLE
AmbienteOS is a digital art show in Elgin IL Friday, September 26, 6 - 9 pm. The musical ensemble will underscore the visual work playing on screens. The musicians will use digital tools to build a sound landscape to compliment the visuals, and at times lean into experimental sounds, solos, and improvisation.
We are looking for 4 - 6 musicians to play in the ensemble. Small travel stipend is available. This exhibit and ensemble is recreational, there will be no cost to attend the performance.
This ensemble is looking for adult musicians of any skill level and play a variety of instruments including but not limited to strings, horns, keys, percussion, woodwinds. Singers and vocalists are also welcome. Ideally musicians would be comfortable with improvisation, and have decent rehearsal etiquette. No professional background or training is required, we just ask you have an understanding of your own instrument and musical style.

About the Coordinators
Adrian is an Artist and Illustrator living in Elgin, IL He works in a variety of mediums, plays clarinet, and produces digital music. Adrian will be coordinating the visuals for this show.
Matt is a guitarist and composer from Geneva, IL, He plays with a range of musicians and musical styles. Matt will be coordinating the music for the ensemble.
